Trinity Regatta 2025 – Women’s Junior 18 Eight Preview

With the Trinity regatta approaching, there is yet another opportunity for clubs to fight it out for victory. Held annually since 1866, the famous Trinity Regatta is a prime race course to witness racing spectacles. In the women’s J18 eight, unfortunately, there is only one entrant, Neptune Rowing Club, but let’s take a look at their potential.

Neptune Rowing Club

Neptune is the only eight entered in this category, and they are a strong contingent, with returning cox and stroke seat from last year’s crew from the Championships in July, Ailbhe Morgan and Aoife Clarke. They will have gained valuable experience and will certainly be returning stronger than ever this regatta season, ready to claim some titles. With a few other returning names too, this crew is set to be stronger than ever as they take on the River Liffey. Though it is possible they will already be celebrating their guaranteed victory, I’m sure this crew is yearning for a real opportunity to showcase their talents – hopefully, one will present itself soon.
