Now representing Scullers, he’ll be eager to prove that the switch was a smart move – and what better way to do that than with a medal, or perhaps even a win? Expect this crew to be technically sharp and highly motivated

Nottingham Union RC

With less travel time this year and the advantage of racing on their home course, Nottingham Union will be a crew to watch. They’ll likely be more than familiar with the unique quirks of the Nottingham course, especially the infamous wind, and will be well-versed in handling the more challenging conditions. Setting off fourth, they’ll have a solid view of their competition and the motivation to chase the top spots. Watch for this local pair’s punchy middle thousand and a confident finish.
