Defending champions Skibbereen RC are back with a new crew while looking to retain their title. Known for their disciplined sculling technique, Skibb’s quad has consistently proven their ability to move a quad this season. Their top-end speed and ability to hold composure under pressure make them early favourites.
Also in the mix are Lee RC and Neptune RC, both of whom have been building momentum through the summer season. Lee’s quad has shown excellent consistency, often finishing just behind the top crews, while Neptune brings a punchy, aggressive style that could shake things up if they get out in front early.
Prediction
This women’s junior quad event promises not just speed, but tight margins and photo finishes. I think that Skibbereen will just pip their competitors at the line and take home the championship title.
