Neptune Rowing Club
Tommy Little of Neptune RC is a powerful competitor and an impressive 19-year-old. He is one of the athletes in the U23 field and is also very exciting to watch due to his sheer strength. Little excels at both water sports and rowing. If he can figure out how to run his race right, he might be able to get one of the top spots. The Dublin club has a history of producing resilient athletes who have been incredibly successful in recent times, both in their endeavours and in their perseverance through challenging situations. The evidence suggests that Tommy Little is one of the athletes to watch.
Dublin University Boat Club
Anrijs Lorencs of DUBC is another person to keep an eye on. He is another powerful competitor, renowned for being highly efficient and possessing an impressive reserve of stamina. Anrijs Lorencs will attempt to apply what he has learned from his training to achieve a top result in the 2000m race. I believe he will start the race at a steady pace and then build momentum as the race progresses, especially in the middle part.
Waterford Boat Club
Sean Harte and Henry Brady, from Waterford BC possess a lot of determination. Both have been improving gradually since the start of the season and will undoubtedly want to ensure they leave their mark on this brutal race. If Sean Harte or Henry Brady can finish in the top five, that will demonstrate that Waterford BC is becoming more developed at the U23 level.
Prediction
With the University of Limerick fielding a large and experienced squad, their athletes are likely to dominate the leading times. However, Tommy Little (Neptune) and Anrijs Lorencs (DUBC) could both upset that pattern if they execute disciplined pacing and intense closing sprints.
